ONLINE TUTORIAL: Health promotion in elite sports

The things we talk too little about – mental training and health promotion among young athletes in elite sport.

After a successful series of four online tutorials last season and Jayna Hefford's presentation last November on "How the PWHL will reshape the women's professional hockey landscape," the Alliance of European Hockey Clubs presents two new tutorials this winter. First up on 31 January at 10:00 CET:

Crucial Investment – Health promotion in elite sports

Tina Dyck, Chief Education Officer at Hockey Club Davos (SUI), brings more than 20 years of experience from Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Dubai, the USA and Europe into maybe this most underrated area within youth training.

Every official who works in a youth program with a club or an association should listen to this tutorial about a newly developed concept that meets today’s needs within the industry.

It not only allows trainers to develop and focus on their true responsibilities, provides a platform for extensive parent education, or gives young athletes tools to increase their performance even under pressure. It also establishes a sustainable and strong base for the healthy future of the club while handling highly complex challenges within the environment around a young athlete.
